This is a sci-fi movie concept I am working on. Fresh Air is a tale of survival in a world without proper access to clean air. This movie will bring the viewers attention to the repercussions of air pollution on our own planet. Is this next stage in human DNA manipulation? Who knows! Photo and photo-manipulation by yours truly.
This is a self initiated project based on the importance of bringing nature back in to your home.
The SCAD CLC was a group of 18 creatives assigned to develop visual design-for-motion concepts for the televised coverage
of the FIFA 2018 Men’s World Cup in Russia. This collaborative assignment was led by Professors Austin Shaw and John Foerster. The original concept for my group, Team Firebird, was inspired by Russian folklore:
The tale of the firebird is about a son of a king who is on a quest to find and prove the existence of this mythical bird. When he finds the bird, he was able to obtain one of its feathers. This is a story of perseverance and glory. We felt this bore a brilliant resemblance to the players in the World Cup.
Within this group I helped illustrate, composite, and art direct. It was a thrilling opportunity to pitch these concepts to FOX Sports.
Team Firebird First Proposal Collaborators: Madeline Miller and Jamie Gray.
Team Firebird Final Proposal Collaborators: Obadah Al Jefri and Taylor Wall.
Through the Gifted Creative Group, I was tasked with creating a children’s book prop about the legend of the “Pig Man” for Disney XD’s television series Walk the Prank. This episode features a babysitter that reads aloud the story “IT Hides Under the Bed”. From concept sketching to hand-bound book, this project was a quick two week turnaround.
Collaborators: Layout design by Leslie Walsh of the Gifted Creative Group. Art direction by Alan Atwood.
International Women's Day - should be every day! I want to spread the love to all my powerhouse ladies out there for International Women's Day. Rock your awkward sexy dance moves every day. No fear, no shame, get it girls!
Happy Earth Day 2016, Savannah!! Over 2000 people came to Forsyth park to enjoy the farmers market, music and festivities. The hand lettering was made custom by Leslie Walsh, the founder of the Gifted Creative Group, while I created the illustration and vector T-shirt design for this years's logo! A big thanks to 13 Brick on great job printing the T-shirts! And Well Fed for hosting a wonderful event.
"Each year in the spring, the 30 acre Forsyth Park at the heart of the historic district becomes the nucleus of Savannah’s green initiatives at the Earth Day Savannah Festival. It is a celebration of environmentally responsible living and business in coastal Georgia, and serves as an important opportunity for local government, businesses, non-profits, and community groups to connect with the public and each other. While many Earth Day festivals take place around the state and country each year, Savannah’s is one of the few that are still truly focused on education and activism, rather than crafts and entertainment. Modeled after the early Earth Day celebrations, the goal of Earth Day Savannah is to open dialogues about environmental issues affecting Savannah as the public is welcomed by a festival of tents draped by 100 year old live oaks." World Puppetry Day is on March 21st. This Google design is to commemorate my trip to Hanoi, Vietnam, and the water puppet show I experienced whilst there. Water puppetry is a form of folk art that dates back to the 11th century. It originated in the Red River Delta in the north of Vietnam.
Want to really immerse yourself into my experience? Here is a video that is taken from Hanoi's water puppet theater: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXvhVhBmk6s
Savannah Stopover Music Festival holds an annual poster competition in Savannah, Georgia. My process each year is to listen to the full range of music on the line-up for something to really attract me.. I listen for that edgy lyric or enticing melody that jolts an image into my mind. I have had fun making posters for this competition for the past three years, and have been placed in the top ten for all of the images. Susto's poster won third place in 2016!
This is a great event o get involved in, and I invite you to check out these artists as well! www.savannahstopover.com
Personal branding project explored in Adobe Photoshop CC to showcase my abilities in logo design, digital illustration, and experiemental label design.
Growing up with a family that owns a dog care business has definitely made me into the golden retriever-esque person I am today. I find dogs all have their own unique personalities and traits, so I thought.... Where would Magzer the Chocolate lab go for a sip of mornin' Joe? Obvously Foxy Loxy, with a Kolache on the side. While traveling I tend to land in some pretty unique coffee shops, so stay tuned for more pups~!
An intimate immersive experience through repetition of sound and song. Sentient Sound is a theoretical sound immersion project I created. For this work I conducted research and created a strong brand identity with a variety of graphic elements that would assist the concepts. Along with three-dimensional interior and exterior examples for the exhibition design on our topic, I created both print and packaging materials as well. I chose to hand-craft a booklet for the "at home practitioner" to harness their own internal mantra practice. For this booklet I chose to evoke symbolic imagery of the lotus flower by creating a booklet styled with a turkish accordion fold.
Digital illustration featured during Savannah’s First Friday Art March. This is a personal piece about a forlorn romantic, playing his song to the only one who would listen, the moon.
The owners of the Treylor Park in Savannah Georgia commissioned me to create a portrait of Trey's father for the opening of their new location, Hitch. This portrait is also an homage to "The Kramer" painting on Seinfeld.

I grew up in a small New England town where my family owns a dog care business. Growing up surrounded by dogs all day every day made it impossible for me not to be a devoted animal lover.
